Pawatech Digital Systems (PDS) Refund & Returns Policy
This Refund and Returns Policy governs the return, replacement, and refund of technology products purchased through PDS Shopping. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below, which are consistent with the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 (Kenya) and applicable laws.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return or replacement under the following circumstances:
- The product is defective, damaged, or malfunctioning on delivery.
- The product is not as described or differs materially from the specifications listed on our website.
- The product is confirmed to be counterfeit.
2. Conditions for Returns
- Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and warranty cards intact.
- Products showing signs of misuse, tampering, or physical damage caused by the customer will not be eligible for return.
- Software, digital licenses, and consumables (e.g., printer cartridges, earphones) are not returnable once opened, unless defective.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable except where defective on delivery:
- Downloadable software or digital keys.
- Gift cards and vouchers.
- Products damaged due to customer negligence, power surges, or unauthorized repairs.
4. Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days after the returned product has been inspected and accepted.
- Refunds will be made using the original payment method (M-Pesa, card, or bank transfer).
- Shipping or delivery fees are non-refundable, except where the return is due to PDS error (e.g., wrong or defective product).
5. Replacements and Exchanges
- If a replacement product is available, it will be provided once the returned product has been inspected and approved.
- If no replacement is available, a full refund will be issued.
- Customers may request an exchange for a different product, subject to price differences and stock availability.
6. Warranty Claims
- Technology products may carry a manufacturer’s warranty.
- Customers must provide proof of purchase (invoice/receipt) to make a warranty claim.
- Warranty coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
7. Procedure for Returns
To request a return or refund:
- Contact PDS Customer Support within the return period.
- Provide your order number, proof of purchase, and reason for return.
- Follow the instructions provided by our team for return shipping or collection.
8. Fraudulent or Abusive Claims
Any attempt to misuse this policy — such as returning used or counterfeit items, or filing false claims — will result in account suspension, denial of refund, and possible legal action.
